Scrapbooking is a relatively new term that has fascinated many people once introduced to the concept. All scrapbooking is really a reflection of what is going on in your life. This picture, second one from the bottom tells all about love for the family, and with a special occasion marking the event a memory that lasts for generations is born. When it is enhanced with stickers, stamps, crayons, glitter, felt, cork, dried flowers, fancy letters of all different kinds and so on to your heart’s desire it is magic. You can understand what I mean by scrapbooking being the quintessential way to show how much you love your life.

I do not know about that one, but I can imagine it is like the joy of getting your hands back into the garden soil once spring is back after a dreary and long winter of shovelling snow. Women really enjoy this even more, because it is a good way to get together over some tea, or even a glass (or two) of nice wine. My friends and I even organize week-ends away just for the sole purpose of sharing love for each other and discussing our life. What better way for a getaway week-end and scrapping! Some for instance started their son's or daughter's life story from they day they came into this world. We now have a lifestory up to and including their weddings and us becoming empty nesters. What a special memory of life did you create! Although the sons say they do not like their life story done in such a way I am sure they would not dare throwing it in the trash, not while Mom is alive and could ask to see it anytime..... Watch out son.Scrapbooking is in my opinion a hands-on experience. Even going out to shop to get scrapbooking material is satisfying, especially when combined with going out with a friend and having lunch sharing the treasures and bargains you found. Back to that hands-on experience. As you know you can save save your pictures in all kinds of places on the net. Ever heard of Facebook? Anyway, there seems to be a trend towards digital scrapbooking. What kind of fun is that in my opinion. It is like playing solitaire.... No, not for me. The social thing plays too heavily. I understand there are even scrapbook conventions. That is too impersonal, although I have been know to change my mind before. I hope that you will try scrapbooking.
